The ConGaloosh Society Inc. has the mission of promoting interactive theater, such as the entertainment featured at Adventurer’s Club. In keeping with that spirit we proudly present:

    The “LIGHTS, CAMERA, ADVENTURE” Video Contest

Lights! Camera! Adventure! (Adventurers Video)

Adventures happen every day and all around the world ! Capture the thrills of an adventurous exploit and submit it to the Congaloosh Film Review Committee for the First Annual AC Film Festival. Use whatever props, locations, special effects, cast you like. It doesn't even have to be live action but can be animation, or cut out animation. You are only limited by your imagination!

Time limit: 3 minutes Format: Video or DVD

With that on to the precepts in which this august competition shall be decided; to wit:

The Rules

  1. All completed videos must be present to compete (this means they must be received via email or snailmail: before the deadline of midnight Eastern Standard Time, June 30th, 2010 )
  2. Adventurers must be of legal (18) age to compete,
  3. By submitting a video, it becomes the property of the Congaloosh Society Inc and contestants agree to allow the ConGaloosh Society Inc. to use the video for purposes consistent with the mission of the Society (above) and understand that there will not be any compensation apart from the chance to win a registration at the convention.
  4. All suitable videos will be shown at ConGaloosh 2010 in the Board’s sole discretion.
  5. Videos must be no more than three minutes long, be suitable for a typical Adventurers Club audience, and be tasteful ( rude or offensive language will result in immediate disqualification, unless the rudeness is connected with Otis...)
  6. Judging will be conducted by the Board of Directors of the CSI and all decisions are final. Judging shall be on the basis of originality, creativity, comedy, and adventure.
  7. One video from those submitted by the deadline, will be selected as a “winner” and the author will receive One admission to ConGaloosh 2010 and the VIP Party at the “Sterling Sensation: the Gathering of the Tribes” (winning prize is non transferrable)
  8. One entry per person
  9. Current members of the Board of Directors and officers of the ConGaloosh Society are not eligible to compete but are encouraged to submit a video.

 Finally in order to win, entries must include the full (First and Last) name of the author, a valid email and phone number – Only first and last names will be included in the videos shown at the convention and accessible from this site in the future.
